Editorial cartoons can be powerful media for expressing opinions and ideas with few or no words. This cartoonist is making a statement about the difficulty American employers are having in finding people who want to come to work. Do you think the message is accurate? Does the image work to convey the artist’s meaning? What do you think the picture is saying?

Try your hand at drawing an editorial cartoon based on a story you've read on WORLDteen. Scan or photograph your best editorial cartoon and send an image of it to us at worldteeneditor.wng.org.
